The Williamson County Unified Road System announces several roads are closed on Thursday, September 10 due to flooding as well as Berry Springs, Champion and Twin Lakes parks.

Williamson County residents now have the ability to register thier cell phones with the Emergency Notifcation System (ENS). This is an emergency telephone notifiaction system used by local public safety agencies to notify citizens of emergencies in their area.

Williamson County has lifted the burn ban effective 10:20 a.m., September 9, 2010, based on the report from the Texas Forestry Service that the KDBI is now 109 for Williamson County.

The 2010 Round Rock ISD Visual Art Faculty Show with more than 50 original artworks will be on exhibit at the J.B. and Hallie Jester Williamson County Annex, 1801 E. Old Settlers Blvd., Round Rock, from September 9 through October 27, 2010. This exhibit is free and open to the public. Williamson County and the Round Rock Arts Council will host a reception for the artists at the J.B. and Hallie Jester Williamson County Annex, as well as a dedication ceremony for the naming of the community rooms on September 16.
